The conference will cover some major themes and specific topics to be discussed will include:
SPECIAL SESSION - Forest Bioeconomy in Romania: present and future prospects
This session aims to bring together Romanian and international scholars whose research contributes to our understanding of developing a sustainable, circular bioeconomy. This session is interdisciplinary, bringing together scholars from various fields ranging from forest management, biodiversity conservation, innovation studies to policy and governance. Most inputs to this session will come from authors involved in the forthcoming book-project: "The plan 'B' for Romania's forests and society", but other scholars whose research is broadly connected to the interdisciplinary topic of "forest-bioeconomy" are warmly welcome to join our session.
