Abstract

Wood species used for afforestation of degraded lands in the northern steppe of the Romania. Case study.

Because the debasement generated by natural context, but also those of the custom invoce degrade land in the village Cordareni - Botosani (northern Moldavia of Romania), stabilization and ecological reconstruction of the land affected by mass movement processes, and especially the slides greater depth is more difficult and more costly compared with other forms of degradation. In these circumstances the introduction of certain wood species by afforestation is required, giving technical solutions depending on the type of stands.
