Abstract

Reserches concernning efficacy of biopesticides spinosad in the control of the large pine weevil Hylobius abietis L. (O. coleoptera - F. curculionidae)

Researches were made in 2006-2007 period with purpose to find a biological alternative in the control of the large pine weevil. Chemical treatments as Sinolintox 5G even piretroids insecticides are negative influence against to entomophagous insect. The report are presented the efficacy of bio-pesticides Laser 240 SC (spinosad - metabolite extracted from actinomycetes Saccaropolyspora spinosa) by foliar or on toxic bark applications.
